When installing one of the Beta products,
Intel® Composer XE 2015 Beta for Windows*
Intel® Software Development Tools 2015 Beta for Windows*
on a machine where Intel® Software Development Tools are already installed you may see the error
'No Valid license was found'.
Until this problem is resolved, apply one of the following workarounds:
- Use "dos2unix" on all license files
- Change the line endings of the license files to UNIX format (line feed (LF) only) with an editor.
- Create a backup subdirectory and move all non-beta .lic files there during beta software installation and then copy them back afterwards.
The default license directory under Windows is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Licenses\ (on 64-bit Windows OS)
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\Licenses\ (on 32-bit Windows OS)
